Our main clients include major home building companies, other Master Builders and niche market home builders.

With the changing requirements of the home owner market, we are seeing an increase in renovations and are working with builders who specialize in renovations. Multi unit living, such as lifestyle and retirement villages, are becoming very popular and we are able to service this market as well.

We work closely with builders to assist them in delivering their projects on time and on budget, whilst maintaining high quality workmanship.

We specialize in building and installing kitchens, al fresco kitchens, laundries, vanities and wardrobes across a wide range of building types.

The Process

Due to our extensive experience in building and installing kitchens, bathrooms and other cabinetry for large projects and multi unit dwellings, we are able to customise each kitchen and cabinets to suit the needs of the individual owner.

We like to work with our clients, rather than for them, as every project is an exciting creation for us.  Our process includes the following:

Planning

During the design phase, we are available to consult on colour choices and customize design together with the clients at our showroom in Warana, as we are up to date with the latest design trends and 3D technology.

After the quotation has been accepted, we will undertake a site inspection and measure, prior to production.

Production

Our products are proudly Australian made by our experienced cabinetmakers, who collectively have over 100 years of experience.

Our factory is equipped with the latest, state of the art technology and ensures consistency in quality and accuracy.

We use only moisture resistant materials and Hettich hardware.

All cabinetry is constructed with 16mm solid backs and all our cabinets are screwed together, not nailed.

Installation

We assign one project manager for each build who supplies regular updates of the project progress and carries out the final quality assurance inspection after installation, prior to handover. The project manager can also be available for onsite meetings.

Cabinets can be installed in one day.

Aftercare

We are available to undertake any required maintenance within 12 months of installation.

Warranties

  1. All hardware is supplied subject to the manufacturer’s warranty only and is limited in time as specified by the manufacturer. We do not offer any extended warranty. We can refer you to the supplier’s warranty team if there is a problem.
  2. All Format Kitchens manufactured products are supplied with a 12-month defects warranty on workmanship.
